Please support St. Stan’s music program that prepares two music shows per year. This year we already produced North Pole Musical, and we are currently working on own story about our school. More than 200 students ages 3-13 years old will be participating in this musical.  Each student will have a unique costume. A great number of costumes are made by students, parents and teachers from our school. However, we still need money to buy fabric for costumes and  material for preps. We appreciate any donations. Please let us keep our music program strong and make the students happy.

Americans are celebrating the Polish-style Christmas at the Consulate

  • Surrounded by traditional Christmas decorations and candlelight, New Yorkers got to experience Polish cuisine, as well as enjoyed a performance of traditional Polish Christmas carols.
The event entitled “A Tribute to Christmas in Poland” was organized by the Consulate in association with the New York chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier. The occasion served to promote Polish cuisine and customs, as many American guests met cuisine Polonaise for the very first time.

Founded in 1976, Les Dames d’Escoffier is a prestigious international society promoting culinary arts. Their name honors August Escoffier, a distinguished French chef who simplified and revolutionized French recipies.

Les Dames d’Escoffier unites women from food, hospitality, and wine industries. Their mission is education, advocacy, and philanthropy but also promotion of the European culinary tradition and various cuisines from around the world.

The Holiday Season gathering was attended by over 120 guests. Among them: restaurant owners, wine connoisseurs, as well as representatives of the hospitality industry and culinary magazines. Diplomats and members of the Polish American community were also present at the Consulate.

A number of traditional Polish Christmas carols were performed by Polish children from the St. Stanislaw Kostka Student Choir, accompanied by piano, violin, and acoustic guitar.
